About Us

Our Mission

At Thrive Speech, Feeding, & Myofunctional Therapy, our goal is to aid in your child's development in order to reach their highest potential. As speech and language, feeding, and oral motor difficulties can impact child development across many areas, we take a whole-child approach in treatment. This means that we consider communicative, physical, academic, and social-emotional components of your child when developing treatment plans.

Our Founder

Elizabeth Buffolino is a Speech and Language Pathologist with a Bachelor of Sciences in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from CUNY Queens College. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist by the State of New York.

Elizabeth is a dedicated speech therapist specializing in speech sound disorders related to oral motor difficulties, including childhood apraxia of speech, dysarthria, and other unidentified speech disorders. With a strong determination to find the root cause of each child's challenges, Elizabeth values parent insights, recognizing them as the best resource for understanding their child's needs. Passionate about child development and adult health, Elizabeth created Thrive Speech, Feeding, and Myofunctional therapy to help patients develop their airway function, physical development, and overall health to ensure they thrive in all aspects of life.
